I am a Barrister with 19 years experience of dispute resolution and civil litigation.
Since qualifying as a Public Access practitioner I have undertaken a considerable number of Private Client cases and offer my clients a comprehensive range of services including -
- 'One Off' Fixed Fee Advice sessions
- 'One Off' Fixed Fee Representation at specific court hearings or ADR sessions
- An ongoing 'start to finish' service that most Solicitor's offer - but at a fraction of the price most Solicitors would have to charge
My approach
My approach is to cut through the flannel, avoid the red-herrings and get to the point as quickly as possible - saving you valuable money and time you would rather spend elsewhere.
In private I will give you straightforward, practical and frank advice - in Plain English - so you can make the best possible decisions about your case.
In negotiations I will deal with matters as forcefully or non-combatively as is required - so you have the best prospect of negotiating a good outcome
In court, where necessary, I will be forceful and fearless - but in a way that does not wind the Judge up the wrong way.
I will not take on any case I do not have the skills or time to handle.
My work
Over the 19 years I have been a practising Barrister I have handled a huge number and wide variety of cases from what lawyers call the 'routine' to what even hardened lawyers regard as 'extremely complicated'.
I am able to offer Public Access clients advice, advocacy, representation and litigation in the following areas :

Over the years I have acted for a huge variety of clients from company directors, professional sports coaches and charities to small and family businesses such as restaurants, garages and light manufacturing companies.
About me
I was qualified in 1997 and have 19 years practising experience of 'general common' law.
I offer a combination of experience and affordability and effective advocacy at all levels of court from the County Court to the Court of Appeal.
I conduct most of my 'public access' client meetings outside of usual 'office hours' to fit in with my clients' working lives and make myself available by email and mobile phone to give them as personalised a service as possible.
