Sean has considerable experience in all areas of Immigration, Asylum, EU and Nationality matters. He regularly appears in the First-Tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal and is happy to accept instructions to appear throughout the UK.
Sean is often insrtucted in drafting judicial review grounds and appearing in urgent applications, including injunctions. He is also regularly instructed to draft grounds of appeal to both the Upper Tribunal and Court of Appeal.
Sean is a member of the Immigration Legal Practitioners Association.
Sean is happy to work with clients outside of normal office hours. Regular updates are provided to clients, as Sean appreciates that innigration matters can be stressful. He is always happy to answer questions that you may have about your case Appointments can be held at Sean's Chambers, by telephone or by agreement elsewhere.
First accredited by the Law Society as an immigration and asylum specialist in 2005 and as a Supervisor in 2006, Sean has previously managed the largest immigration appeal team in the North of England and worked as a Supervisor at a Law Centre.
Specialising in all areas of Immigration, Asylum, EU and Nationality law, Sean is also happy to appear in cases in other areas of law particularly where there is an overlap with immigration and human rights issues. Seam has previously qualified and worked as a solicitor, he is experienced in working closely with clients in preparing cases.
Since 2011, Sean has been sitting as a Lay Panellist and more recently a Lay Chair in proceedings in the Medical Practitioners Tribunal.
