Warren Bergson

I have over 15 years’ experience as a Motoring Lawyer. Road traffic law is complex and technical. You need an expert to guide you through. I am a Barrister and I am authorised by the Bar Standards Board to deal directly with my clients. You don’t have to go through a solicitor to instruct me, which can save you time and money.

Offences covered

I deal with all driving offences including:

- penalty points and disqualification

- speed cameras

-traffic lights and road signs

-section 172 (failing to name driver)

- mobile phones

- driving without insurance

- driving whilst disqualified

- careless and dangerous driving

- drink and drug driving

- taxis and commercial vehicles

I represent private motorists, companies and commercial drivers e.g. taxis, HGV.

Losing your driving licence can have serious consequences on employment and personal and family life. The more serious driving offences can result in a prison sentence.

My approach

I will explain the issues in down to earth language and make sure you fully understand what is involved, the chances of winning and the financial cost. I will deal with all correspondence with the Courts and the Crown Prosecution Service. Where possible, my strategy is to “knock cases on the head”, so that the matter does not even get to court. My fees are clearly set out in writing, right at the start. If you win your case, I can apply for costs although unfortunately the amounts awarded are relatively small.

My work

I am based in London but take on cases all over the country. Many clients are working and I am happy to speak to you and see you outside normal office hours and I can offer, where possible, to see clients in the London area at their own premises.

What will it cost?

Every client receives a detailed letter at the outset setting out just what they can expect from me and what it will cost.

What my clients say

See and hear what world famous jockey Kieren Fallon had to say:

When I represented Kieren Fallon at Ely Magistrates’ Court I was able to prove that the Central Ticket Office computer records were unreliable and therefore the speeding ticket he received was invalid. The case was thrown out and Mr Fallon did not even have to give evidence. Watch the BBC interview following this victory.

Professional & academic

I speak fluent French and Hebrew and I am proficient in German.
