Esther Cantor

Esther has developed a successful practice in private and public children law, includes representing parents, extended family members, local authorities and children via their guardians.  Most of her practice involves non-resident parent, usually the father,  gaining access to their children and has a particular interest in cases of parental alienation and change of residence.

My approach

In matters of family disputes involving children, the parents are encouraged to co-parent eventhough they are not living together, provided there are no safeguarding issues, without the need and expense of court litigation.  In cases of allegation/s of domestic voilence, fact finding hearings, generally, can reopen historic matters that may not have relevance for child/ren to spend time with the non-resident parent.  Whilst emotions run high, an objective and level headed approach can help the parents to refocus on the best interests and welfare of the child/ren.
