The legal services are provided by the independent, self-employed barristers listed on the platform, each of whom is regulated by the Bar Standards Board.
Yes. MyBarrister has been connecting clients with barristers since 2011. Every barrister listed on the platform is regulated by the Bar Standards Board, holds a current practising certificate, and is authorised under the Direct Access (Public Access) scheme to accept instructions from members of the public.

Yes. The barristers listed on MyBarrister practise across England and Wales, with members in London, the South East, the South West, the Midlands, the North West, the North East, Yorkshire and Wales.
Many accept instructions remotely by video conference for advice, and travel for hearings. Matters in Scotland and Northern Ireland operate under separate regimes, and we will tell you if your matter is best handled by counsel in those jurisdictions.
A member of our team will review your enquiry, usually within one working day, and introduce you by email to one or more barristers whose specialism and experience suit your matter. You review their profiles and credentials, and decide whom, if anyone, to instruct.
Yes. You are always in control. We introduce you to suitable barristers, but the decision to instruct, and who to instruct, is entirely yours. There is no obligation to proceed with any introduction we make.
