About Feliks
Feliks Kwiatkowski is a civil law barrister at Central Court Chambers. He has been at the Bar since 1977 and has practised civil law exclusively since about 1998. Having himself been the target of civil litigation, he understands how stressful the court process can be even for those entirely in the right, and aims to be an analytical, target-focused guide rather than to waste a client's time and money.
He has been registered for direct public access since around 2006 and, believing strongly in the system, re-qualified and re-registered in 2015 with a 100% score in the post-course assessment; he has conducted successful High Court work on a direct-access basis. Most of his work comes from London and the South-East, though he will travel in the right circumstances, having appeared as far afield as Penzance and Edinburgh.
Born in Sussex to Polish parents, he speaks Polish and French. His fee depends on the value of the case and the work expected, with a starting rate of £200 plus VAT per hour for County Court work and flexibility on proportionate rates in small claims. He offers an initial telephone conversation at no cost and usually replies to a first enquiry within 24 hours.
