Professional negligence claims arise when a solicitor, accountant, surveyor, architect, financial adviser or other professional falls below the standard expected and causes financial loss. A barrister can advise on whether there was a breach of duty, whether it caused your loss, and what the loss is worth.

A barrister will assess the merits, the evidence needed including expert evidence, and the realistic prospects, and represent you in court. Through Direct Access you can instruct a barrister directly, without going through a solicitor first.
