Horaine Henry

Horaine has a broad practice that intersects across Civil and Public and Regulatory law.

Horaine regularly appears in the County Court, before licensing committees and the Magistrates Court and has been instructed as sole counsel in the High Court and The Upper Tribunal (Administrative Appeals Chamber).

About me

Before joining chambers, Horaine worked in financial services at KPMG and the Bank of England and has a particular specialism in matters concerning financial and commercial regulation.

He also worked as a criminal defence intern at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in the case of _The Prosecutor v. Ratko Mladić.

Horaine is also a member of the Attorney-General’s Junior Junior panel.

• Represented professional bodies in numerous professional disciplinary proceedings
• Acted on behalf of defendants in package travel disputes, often addressing flight delays, denied boarding, negligence and breach of contract claims
• Advised SME on forfeitures in commercial lease disputes
• Advised on boundary disputes
• Acted for leaseholder in application for vesting order
• Represented landlords and tenants in possession and housing disrepair cases
• Represented clients in licensing cases
• Acted on behalf of clients in several contested Proceeds of Crime and Asset Forfeiture case at the magistrate and crown court.
