About Meg

Meg is a commercial and civil disputes barrister whose practice covers the full range of commercial and contract law disputes, from high-profile, million-pound matters involving complex questions of jurisdiction or enforcement, to more modest claims for SMEs. She acts for a broad spectrum of clients, including directors, shareholders and companies themselves.

Her practice also spans consumer rights, where she has successfully argued numerous claims for passengers against airlines and for consumers against businesses under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; insolvency, both corporate and personal, including statutory demands, winding-up petitions and bankruptcy petitions; intellectual property, with a particular focus on copyright (including music), trade mark infringement and the protection of image rights; and professional negligence, frequently in claims against solicitors, conveyancers, barristers and accountants.

Meg is also a sports lawyer, accepting instructions from clubs, businesses and individual athletes on matters including anti-doping, contracts, image rights and regulation. She writes regularly on sports law, with recent articles on anti-doping in tennis and multi-club ownership in football published on LawInSport.
