Jack Rundall

Jack Rundall is a family law barrister who aims to give clients clear, straightforward advice and to negotiate reasonably while robustly protecting their interests. He likes to be involved from the early stages of a dispute and, where possible, to resolve matters away from court through mediation, arbitration or private FDRs, though he is ready to litigate where necessary. He is transparent about fees and happy to work for fixed sums.

Notable cases

In financial cases following divorce or separation, Jack has extensive experience of disputes involving both married and unmarried couples and applications for financial support for children. He specialises in cases involving allegations of non-disclosure, inherited property and family businesses, including farms, and has prepared lectures on protecting pensions on divorce and on non-matrimonial property; his recent cases include arguments about conduct, overseas properties and "add-backs" for one party's excessive spending, and his submissions in the Court of Appeal were described as superb. In children matters he has achieved positive results in numerous child arrangements applications, including fact-finding hearings, with a particular interest in leave-to-remove and parental alienation cases. He also represents parties seeking and defending non-molestation and occupation orders.
