I practice in all areas of Regulatory Civil restraints Orders, Confiscation and criminal property, Debt Recovery (Freezing / injunction Orders), Civil and general criminal law. My practice is geographically country wide and I am prepared to work abroad where jurisdiction allows. I offer a transparent and commercial approach to fee negotiation, working to a fixed / capped fee providing certainty of costs for my direct access clients.
About me
Specialist Knowledge: Through the cases that I have conducted over my many years of practise, of which 29 have been as a leading Silk, I have built up an extensive specialist knowledge in debt recovery, confiscation orders (civil and criminal) , mobile phone technology and cell site analysis, tracking and complex fraud analysis for both criminal and civil fraud.
Judicial Experience: I was authorised to try all Serious Sexual Offences in my capacity as a Recorder, an appointment I held from 1991 until my judicial retirement in 2019. I also dealt with Appeals from the Magistrates as well as frequently sitting on a wide variety of Civil cases at all County Court levels.
Notable cases
I have extensive experience of dealing with matters of considerable gravity and complexity, frequently involving highly technical expert evidence, I am well placed to deal with proceedings brought in relation to regulatory offences.
