I adopt a thorough & careful approach to all my instructions rendering practical advice in straightforward terms with a view to resolving matters on a speedy & constructive basis. I aim to engage positively with my opponents to achieve these outcomes. My track record in advocacy will I hope wholly justify my approach to my work.
I pride myself on being very user friendly with clients & the forums in which they are to appear. I seek to get clients from A to B by the most effective route so as to avoid any unnecessary costs being incurred. I provide support to clients at a most difficult time in their professional lives & put their interests first at all times. My former lengthy practice as a Solicitor brings great benefits when acting in that jurisdiction - I "know how it feels."
I practised as a Solicitor for over 30 years obtaining Silk in 2003. I transferred to the Bar in 2013 joining Farrar's Building with which I had been connected for many years. I am a member of the Disciplinary & Regulatory teams. I specialise entirely in these fields with an equal balance of prosecuting & defending both at first instance & on appeals.
