Why Choose Us For Your Landlord and Tenant Case?...

Having sat as a Deputy District Judge dealing with many landlord and tenant matters - in particular residential landlord and tenant - I am well used to the intricacies and 'trip wires' that are involved in such cases. They are easy to get wrong unless you know what you are doing and getting it wrong can be disastrous.  I have a deep and wide understanding of the law and procedure and we have specialist in-house software (which is only available to us) to deal with cases from the beginning to end.

As a barrister law firm, we have been authorised to conduct litigation. That means that unlike most other barristers, we can commence and conduct a possession claim and/or defence on your behalf.  We are also very adept at strategising and bringing about an optimal outcome, including making sure that all necessary prerequisites have been fulfilled before issuing a notice seeking possession and/or starting the claim at court. Warning: Not making sure that everything is 'in order' first can lead to your claim for possession failing and the waste of upto a year when you have to start your claim over again.

Our fixed fees are low in comparison with solicitors and there is no 'taxi meter' running in terms of our costs - we agree a fixed fee with you for a fixed amount of work and that's it.

We offer a free initial assessment of your case, including looking at the paperwork, in order to work out what you need to do next and how much that will cost.
