Mohammed Akbar Ameen Babul

Akbar was called to the bar in 2000. His area of expertise lies in the field of Immigration, family and criminal Law, as well as banking and corporate law using the means of mediation, negotiation and arbitration.

Akbar has extensive practising experience both in the UK and Bangladesh. Shortly after becoming a barrister, Akbar decided to move to Bangladesh where he practised in the Supreme Court in both High Court Divisions and Appellate Division with a vast number of local and foreign clients in the field of civil and other related proceedings. Being a part of the legal team of several Ministers, politicians and business magnets made him capable of handling very high profile cases. Alongside he is quite known for being the writer and researcher of more than 30 law textbooks and being the editor of 2 widely used law journals where his knowledge about almost every area of law is clearly reflected.

He always tries to resolve matters not only in the courtroom but also outside the court using the methods of ADR. He is a lawyer who puts his client’s interest above everything.
