Andrew is highly experienced in all areas of immigration, asylum and human rights work which includes; 

  • All levels of Immigration, Human Rights and Asylum Hearings
  • Bail hearings
  • Entry Clearance appeals
  • Administrative Court (High Court) and Court of Appeal work, including obtaining emergency injunctions and drafting grounds for Judicial Review and 'out of hours' applications to the High Court
  • EEA appeals 
  • Drafting written Legal Advice/Opinions.
  • Advising professional and lay clients in conferences.

  • Andrew has provided lectures and seminars to professional clients.
  • Andrew has been a trainer and an exam invigilator for HJT (professional legal training in the field of Asylum, Immigration and Human Rights Law).
  • Andrew has in past provided extensive training to the Home Office, UKBA (United Kingdom Border Agency).
  • Andrew has worked as a court appointed expert witness within Public Law Proceedings that involve children.

Andrew understands Malayalam and limited Tamil and has extensive knowledge and experience of South Asian cultures.

 

Andrew was a Non-Executive Director of the Eagle House Group, Schools for children with Autism at all age groups. The Eagle House Group was created in 2004 to support families of children with autism.
